Hermitage

By Josh Fairhead2 minutes read

Hermitage was an early prototype of a Holochain interface where users could interface with the network while retaining control of their data and managing capabilities. This project was an attempt at addressing the question of “what does the everything interface actually look like” - a question becoming ever more relevant in the age of AI. The project won first place in the Odyssey Momentum SSI track, leading to work and consultation with Akasha Hub and the Dutch Blockchain Coalition.

Odyssey Momentum

Hermitage was built at Odyssey Momentum (November 2019), the second Odyssey hackathon following the Commons Stack’s success at Odyssey 2019. The project won “Best Multidisciplinary Approach” sponsored by the Dutch Blockchain Coalition in the Self-Sovereign Identity track. This recognition led to consulting engagements with Akasha Hub and the Dutch Blockchain Coalition.
